INCOMING 5th and 6th Graders
We are so excited for our incoming 5th graders to move into Life 56! We are ready to welcome them with an amazing event planned for Alligator Creek on August 16th and hope that all of our incoming 5th graders will join us along with the new 6th graders.
Here is what you can look forward to as an incoming 5th and 6th grader for Welcome Weekend
On Saturday, August 16 parents will have a short meeting at 10:00 am in the Loft. The meeting is to inform parents of communication systems, and answer any questions regarding Life 56.
After the parent meeting, the students will have pizza before heading off to Alligator’s Creek and they will return to the church at 3:00 pm.

INCOMING 7th Graders
Incoming 7th graders and families!
We’re just a few weeks away from welcoming our incoming 7th graders to Student Life at First O’Fallon. We cannot wait! We have a fun afternoon/evening planned on August 16th and hope all of our incoming 7th graders can be a part.
Here is what you can look forward to for Welcome Weekend, August 16-17:
Saturday the 16th, we will meet at the Student Life Center (small brick building) at 3:45 pm and take the students over to Bowlero in O’Fallon. We will have a couple hours to bowl, eat some pizza, and enjoy the arcade. We will leave at 6:15 pm to return to the Student Life Center. Parents are asked to arrive at 6:30 pm in the Student Life Center for a brief meeting that will last about 30 minutes. If your student plans to attend Bowlero,

Sunday, August 17th we will start our morning with donuts in the SLC at 9:30 am and then head to Bible Study! Our Middle School boys class is led by Danny Rafferty, Brad Brown, Tom Harvengt, and Zach Layer. Our ladies’ class is led by Sara Atherton, Andrea Boenker, and Jenny Layer.
Wednesday night, August 20th (6:30 – 8:00 pm), we will have a Back to School BBQ at the Family Life Center and outdoor courts for our Student Ministry. This will be an opportunity to hang out with friends and leaders and welcome you to Student Life! We can’t wait to have your students join us for this fun night!
In the meantime, if you have any questions about anything, let us know! We know this can be an intimidating time for students as they step into Student Ministry, but even as change can be hard, we would encourage them to jump in and get involved. All of our students and leaders are excited to welcome them in! We look forward to serving your family in the coming days, months, and years.
