Ministry Team Descriptions
Adult Care – The team is responsible for ensuring that area homebound persons are ministered to by the church.
Baptismal – The team is responsible for ensuring that the baptistry and adjacent areas are prepared for baptism as well as making sure the baptismal candidates are physically prepared.
Bereavement Meal – The team is responsible for the meal provided by the church for the grieving family. This meal will be provided at the church facilities and offered for the immediate family of the deceased.
Bus/Van – The team is responsible for maintaining and establishing policies for the buses and vans.
Christian Life and Liberty – The team is responsible for keeping the Church family abreast of moral issues affecting the community and nation. They may encourage members to take an active stand.
Family Life – The team is responsible for strategizing, developing, and fostering a culture of healthy family ministry on behalf of the church. They will ensure that recreational activities support and compliment the program ministries of the church.
First Impression Greeters – The team is responsible for: greeting visitors and members, training greeters to extend a cordial welcome to all visitors and members, provide a headcount for 9:30 am and 11:00 am Sunday Services, and work in conjunction with parking team and connection desk to answer questions and guide visitors to the places they need to go. They will perform these needs before Sunday School and before and after Worship or special services.
Hospitality – The team is responsible for hosting church-wide dinners, receptions and events.
Library – The team is responsible for ensuring that the Library is properly supplied, maintained and administered.
Men’s Ministry – The team is responsible for developing a ministry strategy to equip men to serve in the church, to enable men to evangelize the lost, to provide opportunities to enhance fellowship and edify relationships, and to encourage personal maturing in their Christian life.
Parking – The team is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling traffic ingress and egress.
Safety – The team is responsible for strategizing, developing, and coordinating safety on behalf of the church.
Senior Adult Ministry – The team is responsible for planning and conducting trips, monthly luncheons, and events for the purpose of building healthy friendships, providing learning experiences, and presenting the gospel.
Special Events Decor – The team is responsible for the esthetic appearance of the Foyer and Worship Center.
Wedding – The team is responsible for developing wedding procedures and ensuring that consistent wedding procedures are practiced.
Welcome Connections – The team is responsible for welcoming visitors and directing them to their appropriate Sunday School department.
Women’s Ministry – The team is responsible for developing a ministry strategy to equip women to serve in the church, to enable women to evangelize the lost, to provide opportunities to enhance fellowship and edifying relationships, and to encourage personal maturing in their Christian life.
