Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Smashes Goal

FBCO members gave $39,703.66 to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering in 2022, smashing the goal of $30,000.

The annual offering goes to support overseas missions work by the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Missions Board (IMB). All money collected by churches across the country goes directly into missions work, with none for administrative or other support functions.

Lottie Moon was a young, single, wealthy woman when she started her missions work in China. At the time, only married couples served there. However, she came to love the people. Her decades of service and perseverance through many obstacles–including personal hunger and poverty–inspired other missionaries in China.
