What is Engage O’Fallon?

We believe that God has called us to make disciples of all nations and has strategically placed us in O’Fallon and desires us to start at home. Engage O’Fallon is a week-long intensive outreach into our city that utilizes multiple local mission venues to reach the maximum number of people with the Gospel.

What does a typical week look like?

We engage our city through prayer, Gospel proclamation, and practical service. A normal Engage O’Fallon week consists of service projects in the morning, prayer and training sessions in the afternoons, and door-to-door evangelism efforts in the evenings.

How do outside groups help?

There are 20,000+ homes in the zip code 63366! FBC O’Fallon has been attempting to systematically reach each of these homes over the past few years and have seen Matthew 9:37-38 in real life: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” We are praying for God to send us a teams who can partner with us as we see our city come to Christ.

What does FBCO offer to teams who join Engage?

FBCO will provide free housing, food, resources, and training for teams who join us for Engage O’Fallon. Our hope is to provide a low-cost and easy way for churches to be on mission, with the hope of them bringing an element of our Engage week to their own city and continuing the effort back home. All churches need to provide is transportation to/from FBC O’Fallon and basic bedding (air mattresses, cots, pillows, sheets, etc.) and personal items (clothing, toiletries, etc.).
