Winter 2024 Missions Thrift Store Seniors Trips

During the winter from November through February FBCO senior adult LIFE groups completed several missions project as volunteers at the Missions Thrift Store (MTS) in Lake St. Louis.

FBCO members sorted, priced, merchandised, and recycled donated items for the store. Volunteers included Jerry and Emmy Crabdree, Sam and Judy Pool, Ed and Liz Prouhet, Phyllis Terry, and Mike Smith.

MTS sells and recycles donated items. Through proceeds from sales and by redistributing unsold or unused items MTS supports local Christian organizations such as HOPE Food Pantry and Sparrow’s Nest. It is a collection point for eyeglasses for Focus On Missions, and Bibles and Christian resources for Love Packages.
