“Iron sharpens iron.” There is a mutual benefit when you take two pieces of iron and rub them together. The friction makes the edges become sharp and, in turn, the knives become more efficient in their ability to cut and slice. We need guys to do life with each other, challenging each other with God’s Word which is sharper than any double edge sword as it states in Hebrews 4:12. The Word of God gets to the heart of the matter as these men’s groups will have focused discussion on biblical topics. Each group, consisting of 5 men, will have a leader who will help coordinate a monthly gathering place and time. The goal is that men would have a safe place to share and encourage one another. Let’s not kid ourselves, life is hard and we need to sharpen one another as we meet and fellowship together.
